United Travel Tryout Information

Tryouts for the 2026/27 year

We are looking forward to hosting tryouts for the 2026/27 season for players born between 2011-2019 on Tuesday, May 5th and Thursday, May 7th at Vivyen Field in Bergenfield. Please login or create an account to register your child for tryouts, once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the times.

New players, please note the following for when you attend tryouts:

Wear shorts or proper running pants and sneakers. No jeans.
If you have turf cleats or shin guards, please wear those, but they are not
mandatory.
Bring water labeled with your name
A parent or guardian must stay for the entire try-out session but
remain outside practice area
Parents will be notified of their child's acceptance to the team with
information on deadlines for registering

Registration

After tryouts, the club will reach out to families with links to register for the season. If you are interested in joining mid-season, please reach out to [email protected] so we can connect you to a coach for an individual tryout with the team.

Bergenfield United Training Program

Our Training Program is open to children born in 2019 and 2020 who are interested in learning about the fundamentals of soccer. Held once a week from 5:30-7:00pm, on Friday evenings at Vyvien Field, the clinic program runs for 8 weeks and offers an introduction to soccer. The combined fee for Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 is $150 for both seasons.

Fees

Bergenfield United offers some of lowest rates in this area for a year-long soccer program. We are indebted to our volunteer coaches and administrators who enable us to keep down our costs. Below are the prices for 2026/27.

(2026-27) Bergenfield Residents: $460 (does not include uniforms)
(2026-27) Non-residents: $510 (does not include uniforms)

High school teams, who play fewer games, have a fee of $310 (plus the cost of uniforms) for Bergenfield residents; $360 for non-residents.

Payment plans are available upon registration.

Note: The fee covers both the Fall and Spring seasons and enables the Club to cover the cost of referees, insurance, and administrative fees. The fee does not cover the additional tournaments, team parties or other accessories that the team may elect to purchase. There is a discount for families with 3 or more children playing. Once the season begins, no refunds will be given for players who transfer. Transfer requests will only be approved mid-season (Dec. 1 to March 15).

UNIFORMS
Uniforms kits will be ordered online separately by parent or guardian. The uniform fee is separate and not part of regular registration fee. Uniform costs will be between $110-$125 for a full kit of home, away and practice gear. We change uniform kits every 3 years.
All new and existing players will need to purchase a new uniform kit for the upcoming 2025/26 Fall season and will be good through Spring 2029 season.
